Wondrous Words Wednesdays

Wondrous Words I’m still plodding through Ben-Hur, but the end is in sight. :) The first word a friend of mine told me; I no idea that it was even an actual word!

I've never heard face-saver used, but I was able to figure that one out. Great words today! Thanks for participating!

I liked Ben-Hur when I read that quite a few years ago. I hope you are enjoying it. I liked the sound of appurtenance. Glad you played along.

I have to wonder why someone would go to the trouble of using "appurtenance" when they could just say "gear"!

My words are here.
