1. Decorations
For me, decorating my room and making it all Christmasy is almost as fun as our annual tradition of driving around looking at Christmas lights! I love being able to visit people’s houses and admire their decor and see the light-up snowflakes on street posts downtown. It’s all so exciting!
I wouldn’t be telling the truth if I didn’t admit that I like getting presents on Christmas. I mean, who doesn’t like being able to open a beautifully wrapped present to find something wonderfully exciting inside? Although I do not like having to shop to gather presents, I find it very enjoyable to be able to give someone “the perfect gift.”
Aaahhhh… Despite the shopping, parties, and cooking that goes on throughout the Christmas season, it’s so wonderful to be able to have plenty of time to sit in front of the fire, have no worries of school and final exams, and drink hot chocolate and read a good book (or in my case, edit pictures that have been waiting for weeks to be finished). :)
Yes. I LOVE to eat. And eat. And eat. :D This Christmas season has been great because I’ve been able to eat lots (and lots and lots) of white chocolate dipped pretzels… my favorite! yum!
And best of all is being able to have my whole family around me and to hang out, joke with each other, and just enjoy each other’s company. My type of holiday. <3
